Can a garage give a customer an estimate before starting work?+
Yes. Every job starts as an estimate. You build the parts and labour, send it for approval, and once approved it becomes the live job card, no re-keying. You always know what was quoted versus what was done.
Does it show the profit on each job?+
Yes. Parts pulled from your stock and any outside (sublet) work are deducted automatically, so every job card shows cost, price and profit in real time, and a workshop P&L rolls it all up.
Do I have to deal with insurance jobs?+
No, insurance is optional. Many local garages do cash and card work only, so it’s a switch you turn on if you need it. Everything else works exactly the same either way.
